Who is Magic Trikk?
Born and raised in PG county, Maryland, Magic Trikk is a melodic rap artist whose music blends emotional storytelling, infectious melodies, and authentic DMV influence. Growing up in a family deeply connected to the music industry, he was introduced to the business at an early age. His father, a former Def Jam/universal signee and current CEO of Nulook Records, introduced him to recording sessions, backstage experiences, and live performances that helped shape his passion for music.
Magic Trikk began writing songs in high school before recording professionally at the age of sixteen. Inspired by many artist he developed a sound that combines melodic vocals with honest lyricism, allowing listeners to connect with both his experiences and emotions.
In 2020, he released his debut album, Bipolar Emotions, introducing listeners to standout records including "I Said I Loved" and “Toxic” which gained over 300k views. The project established his presence and laid the foundation for a growing fanbase. He followed with his sophomore album, Now You See Me, in 2022, a project that reflected his journey from feeling overlooked to becoming one of the DMV's rising artists.
Since then, Magic Trikk has continued to build momentum through impactful releases and major career milestones. His collaboration with fellow DMV artist Nino Paid, "In The City," has become one of his most recognized records, helping expand his audience throughout the region and beyond. His music has accumulated more than 430,000 YouTube views, demonstrating the continued growth of his fanbase and digital reach.
Magic Trikk's talent has also been recognized by industry leaders. He was selected to attend TIDAL's Creator Camp at the company's headquarters, where emerging artists were given the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and further develop their careers. He was also featured in TIDAL's Spotlight Program for his single "Seen It All,"highlighting him as one of the platform's emerging artists to watch.
As a live performer, Magic Trikk continues to make his mark, sharing the stage with nationally recognized artists including DaBaby and Pluto, while consistently performing throughout the DMV.
